Halliburton (NYSE:HAL) and Cameron (NYSE:CAM) Say The Blame Lies Elsewhere

In the last three days of congressional testimony, both Halliburton (NYSE:HAL) and Cameron International (NYSE:CAM) are indicating the blame lies elsewhere. Everything is pointing back to BP.

Halliburton and Cameron are just two of the companies, among others that had executives testify to Congress this week about the Gulf oil spill. This testimony, as well as lawmakers comments are focusing on the role that BP has played.

It's being said BP played as the operator, putting into motion the massive oil spill. The House Energy and Commerce Committee has information that workers continued to finish the well.

This was done even though test results showed a buildup of pressure in the reservoir. This information was obtained from the companies themselves. Everything continues to point to BP who despite the problems they were aware existed, signed off on it anyway.
